About Me

I´m a native British English teacher originally from Manchester but I have lived in Barcelona, Spain for the past 11 years. I hold the TESOL certificate and I´ve been teaching English to businesses and schools for 5 years. I´m new to Verbling but I´ve been teaching online for the last 2 years. It´s a great way to learn a language that is cost and time effective. I believe in creating a relaxing atmosphere for learning and my lessons are dynamic and fun. So whatever the reason you are learning English I can help you achieve your goal. Here´s how:

What I focus on:

Business English - I have worked in blue chip companies for over 10 years as a training manager and account manager for companies such as British Telecom and the Royal Institute of British Architects so I have a lot of experience with interviews, meetings, conference calls, business social conversation, sales pitches, presentations etc I can create classes that focus specifically on these types of situations.

General English - I have 5 years of experience teaching in schools and academy´s in Barcelona. We will work on gaining fluency in every day situations and topics, increasing vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar we do this by a variety of methods, speaking, reading comprehension, games and quizzes and homework only if you want to do homework.
