About Me
I have been passionate Literature at a very young age, but I discovered French Literature through the world of Honoré de Balzac (Peau de chagrin), Alexandre Dumas (Le Comte de Monte Cristo), Anne and Serge Golan (Angélique Marquise des anges), during my teenage years. These authors allowed me to expand my imagination while helping me survive my difficult and sometime painful high school years.
I studied French Literature (1995-2000) out of passion and with the intention to teach some day. So here I am!
My teaching style and approach is to make the learning experience enjoyable while allowing students to make mistakes, by encourage them to at least try using the new language even if it's not perfect and gracefully suggesting corrections. Learning a new language also means immersing yourself in a new culture, so I really enjoy providing cultural context to better explain expressions and exploring songs poetry to enhance the learning experience as well!

My trial lessons
A French lesson with me will be dynamic and fun learning experience. In my approach, I integrate cultural elements to help better understand the language structure and mind set. With the proposed curriculum, we will explore some historical facts or elements, poetry from songs and idiomatic expressions to enhance the overall learning experience!
