About Me

I call myself a full-time linguist; I started tutoring Spanish and English in 2009. Since then, I have worked in different language-related jobs in Spain, India and United Kingdom; from teaching, to language research.

At university, I have studied a BA in Linguistics because I was eager to understand how language worked in the brain; from brain plasticity to its similarities to other higher cognitive functions.
Concurrently, since 2011 I have been teaching languages at different institutions; schools, academies, and other private companies. I love sharing my passion for language and I thoroughly design my lessons to meet (and exceed) the expectation of my students. I believe language learning is a very long journey and the teacher plays a key role. Thanks to my work experience, I have developed great teaching resources, I gained highly competitive communicative skills and I have acquired vast knowledge on the process of language teaching and learning.

Moreover, thanks to my background and experience in research, I always try to apply a science-based teaching approach. This means that in my lessons I take into account the latest findings in the field of educational neuroscience and I incorporate a methodology that is coherent with these findings.
