About Me

Hello. My name is Andrew. I am a native English teacher from the United Kingdom.
I live in Porto in the north of Portugal and I currently teach for a internationally renowned private language school. I hold a TEFL certificate.
I have two years experience teaching online, in the classroom and in businesses.
I would say that I am a very dynamic teacher and while I agree it is important to learn the rules of the language, my attitude to language learning is that practice makes perfect. That's why when learning with me, you will get plenty of opportunities to practice and use the target language in real life situations.
I began teaching online before moving into the classroom so my background is more conversational English, using engaging topics and discussions to promote language learning and confidence.
I have also worked alongside journalists from one of Europe's biggest media companies providing English lessons and proof reading services.
