About Me

Hi, I'm from the United States. I was born in California, but I was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I have been teaching English as a Second Language for ten years, and during this time I have taught adults in a technical college, children in a South Korean school, and business professionals privately in international language schools. In 2011, I earned a Master of Arts degree from the University of Chicago where I studied the Social Sciences, specifically Anthropology.

My teaching style is conversational, however for beginners the conversation will be controlled with some degree of repetition to ensure that you can use the concepts when our conversation has ended. For intermediate to advanced learners, we will apply the knowledge you have acquired by strengthening your weaknesses in grammar, practicing idioms, collocations or common verbal phrases, improving your reading comprehension, and whatever you require to meet your goals. I can adapt my teaching style to fit your needs.
I love movies, documentaries, and reading interesting articles. If you share this love, we can talk about them in a way that strengthens your language skills. Let's get started!!!!
