Hello! My name is Caroline. I have a Master's in TESOL from Boston University . My student teaching experience was at a community college in Boston where I taught a beginning level grammar course and an advanced writing course. My students were adults ranging from 18 to 40 years old, coming from all over the world.
My approach to teaching is form-focused and communicative. This means that my goal is for my students to learn through authentic materials and real-life situations suited to specific grammar topics. I also believe that learning authentically should not be at the expense of grammatical accuracy. I strongly believe in strategic error correction as an important step in student development. Language is my passion and I am unfailingly optimistic about all of my students' abilities to succeed. Whatever my students' goals may be, I make it my priority to help them improve their language skills to achieve those goals.
