Im Dr. Yusef Senior Arabic Trainer and Management Consultant
And graphologist (Expert)
Im a former trainer from Wollongong University, Dubai and Preston University.
With over 15 years of experience in teaching Arabic and cultures to non-Arab speakers. I taught in both universities for five years plus seven years at Select training and management consultancy Abu Dhabi. I was their Arabic and Cultural Lecturer designing and delivering Arabic programmes. During that time I refined my methods of teaching and I achieved visible results. I obtained a PhD in Methodology of teaching Arabic to non-Arabs and linguistic from Halifax University in Canada in 2006.
When learning a second language the ability to ‘connect’ with the trainer is paramount ensuring that both parties are able to understand and work with each other. Im an extremely caring trainer who makes his lessons fun and interactive where students really get to use the language and to think in the language in order to produce conversation without the parrot-fashion of learning grammar rules, vocabulary and phrases.
The course material has been developed by myself after several years of research in looking for a common lexis over all Arabic dialects. In addition, the Arabic culture is also discussed in the lessons to given an added dimension to the courses as a value-added component. I understands the need to be able to converse in the language as soon as possible, and at least start to recognize letters of the alphabet.
Through unique methodology practices, participants emerge from the first lesson being able to speak sentences in Arabic and to think in Arabic. The Arabic taught is common across all dialects and therefore no matter whom you speak to, or which Arabic speaking country you visit, you will be able to converse in Arabic effectively.
