About Me

My name is Chris. I'm from England. I am married with grown up children and since 2012 have travelled the world, with my wife, working and living in different countries.

In the past I had a successful career in printing, design and advertising as well as running my own businesses in leisure and online sales. Whilst travelling I trained as an EFL teacher and have now taught in Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and Nepal and given lessons to beginners, advanced business learners and even taught teachers.

I like being fit, reading, listening to music and meeting new people. I am a relaxed, happy and friendly person who is a good listener and easy to talk to.

Personally, I like to give relaxed conversation lessons backed up with 'chat box' notes. We will cover the meaning of words, pronunciation, alternative language and general speech delivery rather than just working with a book - which you can do on your own.

My aim is get my students feeling happy talking English. The more you can talk, the happier you will feel and the quicker you will learn.

If, however, you just need someone to check documents, your CV or role play an interview then that's fine as well.

Thanks for taking an interest in me and good luck with your English.
