About Me

I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. I'm a TESOL-Certified ESL instructor with over 6 years of experience teaching adults of all levels in big classes, small groups, 1-one-1 tutoring, and online. I received my Master of Education in TESOL and my Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Asian Studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I'm currently a college-level ESL instructor in Raleigh, North Carolina.

In my spare time, I also enjoy learning languages! I lived in South Korea where I took intensive Korean courses. Upon returning home to the United States, I obtained my minor in Korean. I'm also currently studying Spanish with a private tutor. My experience, as both a language learner and teacher, has made me aware of the excitement and challenges of living abroad and learning another language.
