About Me

Hello, everyone! I am Jennifer from Chicago, Illinois in the United States of America. Whether you are fairly new to learning English and American culture or hope to reduce your accent; polish your skills for traveling, school, or work; or prepare for an upcoming exam, I am here to help. Using my counseling skills to develop creative lessons based on YOUR needs while giving you plenty of speaking time for practice will keep you interested and excited to learn more.

In order to feel confident speaking, reading, and writing English, you want a native speaker who has been professionally teaching students of all ages for almost twenty years. You need a tutor with a flexible and friendly teaching style based on your specific goals and learning style. You want your teacher to explain the material in a variety of creative ways to be sure you understand fully and to make lessons fun so time flies by together.

I have recently started learning Spanish, so I know how intimidating a new native language can be. You may feel comfortable reading English but feel your comprehension is too slow to keep up with a conversation. Perhaps you feel that you cannot form the sentences quickly enough to have confidence when you talk. Maybe you wish your accent sounded more American and less influenced by your native language. During lessons with me, you will feel safe to make mistakes because I will offer gentle corrections and tips to improve your English throughout each lesson. You and I will work together to develop and adjust your lesson plan as you progress. You will not feel alone as you learn.

CONTACT ME NOW to set up our first lesson, so you, too, can see how learning English can be fun together! Let me know what you hope to achieve.
