About Me

I am an Australian teacher who has lived in Asia many years. I have lived and worked in China for 8 years, Cambodia for 1 year and Philippines for 6 months and have travelled extensively throughout South East Asia.

I am TEFL Certified (8 years) have a Bachelor of Arts with 1st Degree Honors with a major in Language and Learning acquisition and am currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education in Australia.

During my time in Asia I was working as a classroom teacher, University Lecturer and school Manager/Director and Trainer as well as working off-site in Chinese companies to teach Business English and English for Specific Purposes (ESP).
For the last 6 years my role has been training students for IELTS examination preparations.

My teaching style is kind, patient and I like to have a laugh and some fun with my students.

"No fun without learning, no learning without fun" is my teaching motto :)

I absolutely love teaching and am passionate about helping my students to achieve their personal, study and career goals in English.
