Oi, tudo bem? :)
My name is Pamela. I have a bachelor degree in languages and literature and a master degree in teaching foreign languages. I have also studied intercultural education at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland, UK). I have always been interested in foreign languages, literature and communication, that’s why I have decided to become a teacher. I have been teaching Portuguese (my mother tongue) for more than 10 years. My classes are based on the communicative and intercultural approach. I always like to hear about my students experience in learning a new language and help them to improve step by step. When I am free, I like to read books, watch TV series and spend time talking to my family and friends. I am an introvert so I like to connect and have meaningful conversations with people. I also love to travel and try different vegetarian dishes!
Mi nombre es Pamela. Tengo una licenciatura en idiomas y literatura y una maestría en enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras. También he estudiado educación intercultural en la Universidad de Edimburgo (Escocia, Reino Unido). Siempre me han interesado las lenguas extranjeras, la literatura y la comunicación, por eso he decidido ser profesora. Enseño portugués (mi lengua materna) desde hace más de 10 años. Mis clases se basan en el enfoque comunicativo e intercultural. Siempre me gusta escuchar sobre la experiencia de mis alumnos al aprender un nuevo idioma y ayudarlos a mejorar paso a paso. Cuando estoy libre, me gusta leer libros, ver series de televisión y pasar tiempo hablando con mi familia y amigos. Soy introvertida, así que me gusta conectarme y tener conversaciones significativas con la gente. ¡También me encanta viajar y probar diferentes platos vegetarianos!

My trial lessons
In my trial lesson, we will have a short interview so I can know more about your expectations and your experience in learning Portuguese. Then according to your level I will present a short thematic lesson, so you can see how my classes work. Then I will ask if you enjoyed the lesson, which activities you liked the most or the least etc. If you want to continue learning with me, we can set up a plan for future lessons (and you can also suggest topics).
