About Me

Hello, my name is Megan. I'm American, and English is my first language. (I also speak French fluently, and some Italian.) I have a "Hollywood" accent, which means my accent sounds like what you hear in the movies. I teach lessons in the style of complete English immersion, which is a great way to learn! Mais si vous voulez prendre des lecons en francais, ca me ferait plaisir d'arranger cela.

I have been teaching English as a foreign language online for almost 5 years. I also work full time in my home town as a business liaison. In addition to that, I still study French and Italian as a student on Verbling myself. I also have a big family, many friends, and a cute dog who require my attention. Thus, you may notice that I have limited availability, but I try to be as flexible as possible, so if you do not see a time that works for your schedule, do not hesitate to send me a message to try to arrange a time for a lesson.

We can have lessons on any subject that you would like. I use a variety of resources (songs, videos, articles, activities, etc.). I can help you to improve your grammar, learn new sentence structures, expand your vocabulary, or just practice your conversational skills. I can also help you with your written work, like your resume, or any reports that you have to write in English. Whatever it is that you would like to accomplish, I can help you reach your goal!

Here's a little bit more about me for those of you who are still reading: I have my Master's Degree in Psychology. I have traveled a lot in North America and Europe--over 50 cities! I love to go hiking, kayaking, rollerblading, ice skating, dancing, and, most of all, I love to learn! I would love to learn about you, your language, your culture, and everything that you love about life! I find that the more I learn about other languages, the easier it is for me to teach my own language.
