About Me

Hello! I'm James. I am a 25 year Englishman with more than eight years experience teaching English and Spanish in schools and online, both to groups and to individuals in one-to-one private classes.

I believe that language learning should be fun, which is why I opt for an interactive stance, basing classes around topical issues, texts and journalistic material. I do not focus entirely on grammar, but I use fun and interesting content to explain tenses and conjugations in a digestible, accessible way. I have an excellent knowledge of the English language and an extensive vocabulary in informal and business English. I would love to share this with you!

I have a First Class Honours Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Spanish and a Master of Arts (MA) in International Liaison and Communication. I am incredibly passionate about languages and language learning, and I love to teach anybody with a desire to learn, whether it's to improve writing, comprehension or just to practice speaking.
