Hi there! I'm Christina, a native English speaking American living in Chile. I started teaching ESl in 2010 during a semester abroad in South America. It was a job that I found that I loved and I knew I wanted to continue. After finishing my MBA in business administration in the USA, I returned to Chile to follow my dream. I currently manage an English institute which not only requires me to train and help our professors plan their classes but also allows me to teach some of our students. I am experienced with children to adults and can teach beginners to advanced levels. I believe that learning comes from practice and emmersion in a language. I enjoy using total physical response methods, especially with younger learners. I love using realia in lessons and developing my lessons to meet specific goals of students. I think flexibility is key in successfully teaching a language.
