I have been an educator for more than 20 years with various disciplines as well as age and ethnic groups. I am TEFL certified I was a vocal teacher to some of the top artists in South Africa. As a vocal trainer, a tremendous emphasis is placed on pronunciation. Without the correct pronunciation of vowels and consonants, the vocalist cannot effectively control their voices. I am also an award winning songwriter and for years taught people to compose. With songwriting, the main focus is the English language at an advanced level. Classes are based on Pat Pattison's course from Berkley, USA. I have acquired a vast amount of knowledge over a wide range of topics, which makes it very easy for me to adapt to the needs of the student, which is always the main priority.
