Me llamo Sergio y quiero ayudarte a mejorar tu nivel de español. Trabajo como profesor de español en línea desde el año 2015 y en todo este tiempo he tenido la oportunidad de conocer a estudiantes de todo el mundo y ayudarles a conseguir sus objetivos.
Soy de Málaga, del sur de España, pero he residido muchos años fuera del país. Viví un tiempo en Alemania y en Riga, en la capital de Letonia. En ambos países he tenido que intentar aprender el idioma local, el alemán y el letón, y por eso entiendo perfectamente los problemas y las dificultades que tienen todos aquellos estudiantes que necesitan o que quieren aprender un idioma que no es el suyo. I am a Spanish teacher from Colombia with a Bachelor of Sciences in Education: Foreign Language Teaching from the Universidad de Antioquia.
After gaining experience in Medellin, Colombia as an English and French teacher at different Language Teaching centers such as a public school, a private institution, a university and even as a private teacher, I decided to move to France where I worked as a Teacher of Spanish as a foreign language for the French Ministry of National Education for more than a year.
While teaching Spanish, it is very important for me to consider my students previous knowledge, their interests and the goals they want to achieve while acquiring the language. It is fundamental to create a good ambiance that provides confidence to the learners while they enjoy the process. I'm Ana, from Buenos Aires, Argentina and I'm currently living in Madrid.
I love travelling and meeting new people. I speak Spanish and English fluently, I'm currently learning Italian, and have some basic knowledge of German, French and Portuguese.
Being a language student myself, I believe that traditional language classes, besides grammar, usually teach you some basic conversation for very specific situations.
Once you feel confident in the language and find yourself in a situation where you need - or want - to use it, it might happen that you do not have the appropriate vocabulary, or the expressions to tell an anecdote, talk about Taurus on your natal chart, why the chicken crossed the road, or be specific about your interests.
