Hello, my name is Isabella and I have been teaching the Italian language since 2005. I graduated in International Relations and I earned a specialization in teaching Italian (CEDILS) at Venice University.In 2018 I completed the Masters in teaching Italian to foreign students at ICOTEA Institute.I teach the Italian language to students of any age and level ( beginner, intermediate and advanced). Since you're probably here to choose a teacher from among hundreds, let me share a helpful tip: one of the strongest signs of of student satisfaction is the average number of lessons per student.
How do you calculate it?
Simply divide the total number of lessons a teacher has given by the number of students who have taken at least a second class.
Verbling is especially helpful here, as it’s the only platform that clearly displays this statistic on each teacher’s profile.
(In my case, you’ll see I have around 50 lessons per student: this number is calculated by Verbling, taking into account only those students who took at least one class after the trial class)
To sum up: if you avoid teachers with a low average, you're much more likely to enjoy a positive and rewarding learning experience.
