Noruz is Iranian new year ,
one of the things you may need to know about It:
"khune tekuni خونه تکونی": shaking the house
it doesnt means shaking exactly but deep cleaning of house and cleaning from dust before nowruz to prepare for new year. Iranina a month or 2 months before Nowruz, do deep cleaning of house to make it ready for spring.
