Hola! My name is Manuel. I'm a native of Spain. I have taught Spanish for over 20 years in many different settings to a wide variety of age groups. For the last 8 years, however, I have taught at the college level. I am currently finishing my PhD in Applied Linguistics. My studies have thus enabled me to get a better understanding of how a second language is acquired, and at the same time they have informed my style of teaching. I believe teaching should be fun and dynamic. I also believe in using class time mostly for communicative conversation, and other types of assignments can be done after class, both as review and reinforcement of the material.
