My name is Yonatan Acero Ruiz, I am from Colombia. I am an English and Spanish teacher with some years of experience. I have a degree in English as a foreign language and, I am finishing a degree of specialization in pedagogy development for autonomous learning.
I love teaching, that is why I like being a didactic teacher. I believe that teaching through fun lessons is very important because these methods develop students´ learning skills faster than traditional ones. Actually, I use the constructivist method where students' prior knowledge is essential to continue building on what they already know. Therefore, as a bilingual teacher who manages ICT, my role is to involve my students in every single lesson and guide them to reach a higher level in their linguistic skills.
