Hi, my name is Ana. I’m from Venezuela, and Spanish is my native language. I love to teach , translate, read, meet people, learn new languages and dance salsa. I have been to several countries in Latin America and in Europe I have only visited Portugal. I love languages since I was born because my mother is Venezuelan and my father is Portuguese. The sounds of every language are magical.
I hold a diploma in translation (English-French-Spanish) and a Spanish as a foreign language certificate. I speak Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and I’m learning Italian now. I combine my translation work with teaching. I started this learning path in 2013 with in company courses, private and public schools in my country. In 2016 I decided that I wanted to share my knowledge and my language with people from all over the world.
Through my years of teaching experience, I have learned that every student is different. They have different language abilities, ways of learning, interests, hobbies, and learning paces. Because of this, I provide a highly customized lesson for every student. I use interactive materials such as videos, audios, pictures, readings, games and I prepare powerpoint presentations. Every class is different. I teach kids, teenagers and adults. My lessons are a mixture between grammar and conversation, but I focus more on conversation. I also send homework assignments.
