Professional experienced British teacher specialised in vocational/business English, conversational English and IELTS.

I have lived most my life in the UK and Malaysia and thus understand the challenges learning a new language presents. I currently live in Ireland after spending a number of years in New Zealand.

I have a Law degree and a Masters in International Business and have worked as a Corporate Banker for multinational banks across various countries. I love teaching and am now an English teacher who has also been trained to specialise in IELTS. Seeing my students improve and progress in every class makes me incredibly happy!

Me as a Teacher
I specialize in delivering structured English lessons that suit your learning goals. In the first trial lesson, we will discuss your language goals, and develop a learning plan to help you achieve them.

I love teaching and my teaching style is patient, fun and structured. I want you to feel at ease but I also want you to gain value from each of my classes. I also want you to continue learning outside my class, so I will give you homework and areas to work on outside the class so you can continue improving!

My Lessons & Teaching Style
I offer three types of English lessons:

1. IELTS Speaking, Reading and Writing sessions. I will identify the areas you need to focus to improve your score and have a range of tools and techniques you can work with to immediately boost your score.

2. Business English coaching such as interview and presentation skills and resume editing. As I worked in top multinational banks in various roles for many years and have extensive insight that can provide tips on how successfully navigate through the corporate world and make an impact.

3. Conversational English. I can help you practice your conversation skills and we can discuss any topic that interests you and will be relevant to your everyday life. I will focus on expanding your vocabulary, improving your grammar and correcting your pronunciation of words.

In all my lessons, a tailored learning plan will be made to help you achieve your learning goals.
