Hello everyone,

my name is Igor, I come from Sardinia, Italy, and I am a new tutor here on Verbling platform and really excited to meet and see my students become more and more familiar with Italian language :)

I completed my university studies in Foreign Modern Languages and Civilization, with a strong focus on linguistics and philology. I have been studying Italian, Russian and English languages as first choices and Bulgarian as a secondary choice, for three years at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice.

During my studies in Venice, I benefited from what is informally called "tandem", in other words, exchanging lessons of one's native language in return to lessons of a language one is studying; I have been exchanging lessons of Italiant with Russian and English students, with whom I eventually became friend.

I have spent one year of my studies in Sofia, Bulgaria, where I studied as an Erasmus+ exchange student. In that occasion I could enhance a bit my level of competence in Bulgarian Language.

During my last year of university I successfully obtained the certification in Italian language teaching at the I.T.A.L.S. (Italian as a Second Language) Research Center - under Ca' Foscari University of Venice.

Having been living abroad and having been studying foreign languages, made me aware of cultural issues, views and challenges. I have been living in Finland for more than a year now.
