If you are looking for a tutor who will inspire and motivate your children to excellence and confidence then look no further. My tutoring style is grounded in developing rapport with students, and discovering ways to engage them emotionally and intellectually with their subject. My tutorials are characterised by patience, a rich and encouraging environment and challenges set within a framework of hopeful expectation – I have found is a recipe for effective learning to be creatively realised.

Poetry and prose, recital feature in my tutoring prominently. As does reading written work aloud between student and tutor.

These techniques build academic and social confidence and give students the means to emotionally connect with their work. A vital skill for engaging themselves and persuading others.
