My name is Tara.

I'm 24 years old, and I'm from Canada. I graduated from The Ohio State University.

I have been an English teacher for four years. I am TESOL and TEFL certified.

My students were of all ages, from the age of 3 to 92.

I teach Basic, Intermediate, Business and Casual English. I can help you prepare for exams in IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL as well as job interviews.

I really enjoy meeting and working with a lot of different people, and I am known for being a great listener and clear communicator.

I have many interests, I'm interested in history, art, MMA and boxing, technology, languages and world cultures.

My job in this school was focused on young learners, where I was able to develop my skills as a teacher by helping children learn trough interactive and entertaining methods. Young learners are very sensitive as they have low attention span, which means that I, as a teacher, had to think of ways to keep them entertained and focused on the lesson through TPR, props and games. I also worked with adults whom I successfully prepared for job interviews and English exams.
