Hello, My name is David, but my friends call me Dai. I am from Wales in the United Kingdom, and I have a bachelors degree in environmental science and a TEFL certificate.
I have been living and teaching English in Thailand and Vietnam for the past 9 years to a variety of students with different abilities. My students have ranged from kindergarten, primary, junior, high school, and university students, as well as working people.
I am an easygoing and fun-loving person that enjoys meeting and getting to know new people. I really enjoy helping people to achieve their goals and take great pride in my work. I am patient, intuitive and understand students needs. I have a wealth of experience dealing with language learners, both in the classroom and online.
I concentrate strongly on improving the pronunciation ability of many of my students and also encourage them to improve their grammar usage, as I understand the importance of these two factors in building the confidence of my students in using English in everyday situations, such as in the work environment or preparing for IELTS, KET or PET tests, or on a social basis.
