✔️✔️ TAKING NEW STUDENS ✔️✔️ Hello! I am a TESOL certified English teacher, originally from Syria but I grew up in the States! I have an IELTS score of 8.0 and I specialize in accents and pronounciation. I have an 8.5 score on the speaking exam and I utilize my knowledge to helping students achieve better their speaking skills in general use or for specific purposes!
I will help guide you through entertaining yet educational classes on your journey to mastering the English language! I like to keep a level of formalism yet friendliness in my classes. So that you're comfortable speaking and interacting with me, knowing that I would not judge you harshly if you make any mistakes! I simply want to help. I'm friendly and communicative and will try my very best to speak at your level. I have worked with children and adults that had little to no knowledge of the English language and I was able to help them build the foundations of beginning to learn it by speaking to them in a simplified and direct way.
my lessons will begin by us getting to know each other. Once we've established a common ground of what your level is and what you'd like to focus on then we can start expanding little by little from there. I believe the best way to engage with students is to give them something that stimulates them and something that they're interested in. I will have you discussing different topics with me, reading articles with me. I will ask you to express yourself and write short pieces then read them out to me later. I understand that it can be scary learning a new language so I do my best to take things at your pace and not rush you or overload you with information that you're not prepared for.
