Hey guys! I am a highly experienced native English teacher from Scotland in the U.K.
I am studying a DELTA (masters equivalent qualification in English teaching)
Since graduating from university and attaining my TEFL qualification, I have been living and teaching in Latin America for the past two years before getting a teaching job in a language school in Edinburgh.
I have been teaching English in a variety of different environments, including large group classes in Universities and Schools and private classes to students of all different ages, professions, interests and abilities.
I like to tailor my teaching style to suit the needs of individual students, creating a humorous, relaxed and stimulating learning environment whilst discussing a variety of interesting topics and thoroughly explaining grammar points in an easily understandable manner when required.
Through becoming proficient in Spanish I have learned many teaching methods and have learned to relate to and understand the learning process in my students - realizing what is most engaging and effective and what is outdated in the world of language teaching.
I have taught business English and am especially experienced in teaching native Spanish speakers of any ability level, from A1 to B2.
