Hi there! How're you doing?

I'm Courtney, and I'm from California. I've been teaching English for over 10 years now. How can I help you reach your language goals today?

If you're interested in speaking like a native English speaker from the U.S., look no further! I have years of experience teaching American slang, idioms, phrasal verbs, Business English, and more.

I am a highly professional TEFL-certified (130 hour, CELTA equivalent) teacher. I love connecting with and engaging my students and I always strive to bring my energetic personality to my lessons. I remain at all times a mature and dedicated teacher. I have experience teaching and tutoring a wide range of lessons.

I love finding out what interests you as a student and building the lessons off of that. For that reason I've assisted students with everything from test preparation to preparing a legal defense (and everything in between - creating a successful outline for essays, medical English, perfecting an elevator pitch, helping to launch a product in the U.S., and more). On top of that, I love to assign additional work if that's something that interests you. I strive to make my lessons as engaging for you as possible!
