Hello everyone!

My name is DeShaun Johnson and I am an English teacher teaching English for the past 3 years. I teach students how to become better readers and writers, but have been trained in my professional career to teach beginning English language learners how to speak English fluently.

My educational background includes a 4 year college degree in English Liberal Arts and a 2 year degree in Web Graphic Design. I love the written word--reading and writing it. However, I love teaching it to younger students even more and sharing my passion of the beauty and depth that is involves the English language.

Once I am able to teach you not only how to speak it, but learn how to read and write it, you will also see the creativity and beauty of it as well.

English will not just be a spoken language, but a "super power" you can use to communicate and express yourself in ways you never thought possible!
