Hi there!

I'm Andy. I'm a CELTA certified teacher living in NYC and an active language learner. I've taught for 4 years in both Korea and Japan. Besides languages, I'm interested in music, books, writing and motorcycles.

The most important thing to me is creating a class that feels safe and comfortable for the learner. Mistakes are always a good thing and an important part of learning! My goal is to build your confidence and give you the skills to meet all your language goals in the real world. I've also felt the challenges of learning a language and know how important it is to feel like you can do it. If you've ever felt afraid to speak or shy because of your ability, you are not alone. I've been there too. Take my class and let me show you that you absolutely CAN speak confidently without fear.

I believe the most important part of language learning is using your target language through meaningful communication. So my lessons will always be focused on getting you to speak as much as possible.
