Hakkımda

Hello! I am Manuel Casanova, a Teacher of Spanish to Speakers of Other Languages. For many years I have developed my career in the tourism industry and I have lived in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Canada and Finland.


Since 2015, I am exclusively commited to the teaching of Spanish to foreigners. I have taught for over 2000 hours (online and face-to-face lessons) and I also have 1,900 hours of certified training including a Master of Science in Applied Linguistics / Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language. Among them, I have gathered over 180 hours of specific training in online teaching and editing of learning materials. I am also accredited by the Instituto Cervantes as a DELE examiner.

I am fluent in English and French. I enjoy learning about different cultures, watching movies or documentaries, reading, exercising and listening to music. Furthermore, I love Spanish.

The aim of my lessons is that students are able to perform a task. It could go from something as simple as «greeting and introducing themselves» (beginner level), to «soften an expression of disagreement» (intermediate level).
