Hello, prospective students!
My name is Taige, however, most of my students call me Tay. I am back on Verbling, after a brief hiatus. I am a native English speaker from South Africa, however, I travel regularly, so my current location changes often.
I have been teaching since 2014, making me fortunate enough to have taught students from many different countries. I have taught students from Egypt, Portugal, Germany, India, Saudi Arabia, China, Vietnam, South Korea, Spain, and Japan - to name but a few.
Although I have taught many adults, I specialize in teaching English to children. I have taught children as young as 3 years of age and as old as 18 years of age. This is not to say I am not able to teach adult students, as I have vast experience teaching adult students as well.
My core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:
Pronunciation
Business English
Listening and comprehension skills
Resume and Interview preparation
Writing skills
Grammar
Conversational English
I have taught for many notable companies, and I am also a trained virtual assistant and transcriptionist. I am also well-versed in creating lesson plans and building tailor-made curriculums for my students, based on their individual needs, strengths, and weaknesses.
I have a very relaxed, easy-going, and steady approach to my classes. I believe that my students learn best when they are comfortable and relaxed in classes, as it allows them to get the very best out of their classes, allowing for a prime learning environment.
