Hi there I was born in Belgium and Dutch is my native language. I have always been interested in languages, not just using the language correctly but also trying to understand the evolution of the language and comparing different language groups. Although I was educated as an engineer, after the birth of the children and being always on the move, I had to reinvent myself. I started to give language courses. Soon, I found out that I really enjoyed this and that I was actually good at it. I always adapt my lessons to the needs and wishes of the student.

I'm quite passionate about languages. Always in the process of tackling a new language or improving, brushing up on the ones that I learnt in the past. I'd love to transfer some of that passion on to you. So I know very well how challenging learning a new language can be, how blocked you can feel in speaking and all the other difficulties that come with this process. Hi! My name is Rignald and I am an online Dutch teacher. I am a Dutch native speaker currently living in Florence, Italy. I have a Master of Arts in Languages and Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam. Learning foreign languages has always been my biggest passion. I have been teaching online for the past seven years for several language schools using different teaching platforms.
