Hello everyone! my name is Teresa. I am a native Spanish speaker and a qualified Spanish and English teacher. In 2015 I obtained my master’s degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language at Granada university. I have 25 years of experience teaching both Spanish and English. First in my country in private Language Schools, and later I lived and worked in The States as a visiting teacher. I taught Spanish at different schools and high schools in SC, NC and TX.
I have always combined private tutoring with other teaching jobs, so I have also experience in one to one Spanish classes, included lessons on Skype.
Learning a foreign language is very exciting. I love teaching my native Spanish it also gives an opportunity to share each other culture , customs and traditions
In my classes I always adapt to my students’ needs and I provide all sort of materials so my classes are fun , interesting and effective.
Conversational Spanish is an excellent way to learn a language and improve vocabulary but more importantly build confidence when speaking the target language. We all worry about making mistakes but with practice and increasing self confidence these fears will soon go away. It is about understanding and being understood.
The fact that I had to learn English is very important because I know how it feels to be a language learner.
