I was born and raised in Colombia. There, I studied Hispanic Philology and for 5 years I worked as a Spanish teacher for foreigners. Right now, I am living in Buenos Aires (Argentina) because I decided to get a Master degree in Cultural Studies and I plan to spend the next 3 years getting to know this city and living the Argentine culture.
During my classes, I like to focus on the needs of my students and create a work plan that is always adapted to their preferences and that allows them to learn Spanish in a practical and useful way.
I use different types of materials and teaching aids such as: videos, photos, power points, audios, etc. All this, in order to the student to have a more enriching experience. Likewise, I focus on the student's conversational ability and during the class I propose different activities that will allow them to feel more comfortable with their oral expression.
