Hello future Spanish speakers,
My name is Daniel and I am a native Spanish Teacher. I´m highly trained, experienced and motivated in the teaching of adults as well as children. Consequently, my teaching style varies depending on the interest of my students (conversation and role plays, grammar, new vocabulary…). In all teaching situations, I always try to help my students make progress and I always encourage them to achieve their potential.
I am currently working as a Spanish Language Assistant at Boston High School where I am having the opportunity to learn about the education system in the UK and to develop my teaching skills.
All of my studies are focused on the teaching of Spanish language and culture. I studied a four year Degree in Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Murcia and a Master’s Degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language at the University of Granada, thanks to which I acquired the skills and attributes necessary for the students to motivate themselves and learn this language in a natural way through the use of real materials from the Hispanic world and from various authentic sources. Later, I completed my studies with a Master’s Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education and Upper-Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Language and Arts Teaching at the University of Murcia. Both of my Master´s Degrees were accompanied by two periods of practice respectively, one in the Modern Languages Centre of the University of Granada teaching Spanish Language and Culture to students from the United States enrolled in a university exchange program and the other in the Public High School of Beniel in Murcia teaching Spanish Language and Literature.
Additionally, due to my passion for this profession and my commitment to the community, I have also been a volunteer Spanish teacher for immigrants and refugees in the Non Governmental Organization ‘Vega Baja Acoge’ in Alicante.
