Olá! I’m Mari, a native Brazilian Portuguese teacher with more than six years of experience and over 5,000 lessons taught to students from around the world.
My lessons are structured, practical, and focused on communication. You will not simply memorize grammar rules: you will learn how to use Portuguese naturally in real conversations.
From your first lessons, you will practice:
• Speaking in everyday situations
• Understanding native Brazilian Portuguese
• Improving your pronunciation
• Building useful vocabulary
• Using grammar correctly and naturally
• Becoming more confident when communicating
Every lesson is personalized. We can focus on Portuguese for everyday life, relationships, travel, work, or conversations with Brazilian friends and family.
Are you a complete beginner? You are welcome here! I can explain everything clearly in English, and you will start creating your own sentences in Portuguese from the very beginning.
Already speak some Portuguese? I will help you correct recurring mistakes, expand your vocabulary, improve your pronunciation, and sound more natural and confident.
I have taught Portuguese online and at language schools in Switzerland and Austria. I am also the author of eight Brazilian Portuguese learning books, developed from my experience helping real students overcome their difficulties with the language.
My students describe me as patient, organized, encouraging, and easy to talk to. I create my own learning materials and adapt each lesson to your goals, level, and learning style.
