關於我

Hello, my name is Lara. I am a highly qualified and experienced tutor of Italian and French.
I have been working as a teacher for more than 15 years, in France, where I lived for 12 years, in Italy, that is my country, and in UK, where I have been living and working for two years.
I worked in state schools as well as in independent schools, have worked in Further and Adult Education and am still fruitfully collaborating with some British language schools, like Cactus Language.

My rich and long experience has enabled me to create tailor - made courses and teach Italian and French by covering a wide range of topics at all levels . My courses range from literature to business Italian and French, from grammar to conversation, from civilization to preparation of examinations.
I am able to identify learners needs, plan and deliver session based on efficient schemes of work and session plans, verify and assess learning and finally give feedback.

As for my qualification: 2014 - I took the Britih PTTLS - Preparing to teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (Level 4), iIn order to become a teacher in Further Education
2003 - I got the French Capes Externe d'Italien (level 7) , allowing me to teach Italian in the French Secondary School (State School)
1999 - I took the Italian Laurea in lettere classiche, which is the equivalent of British Bachelor (honors) degree standard.
