I teach elementary English to Chinese children online and I sing songs and use language games, TPR, props and images to engage the children and enhance their learning. I find the experience incredibly rewarding and I love working with children, because they really absorb knowledge and love learning.

St Edmund's was previously ranked the UK's top summer school. I found the holistic educational approach very impressive. As an art teacher I introduced students to a range of media and consolidated their English by encouraging their curiosity in a different context. I also had to prepare my English class for Trinity ISE exams and created lesson content related to their excursions.

Ganquan Foreign Languages Middle School - Shanghai, China
Facilitated by the British Council, I taught both Chinese and multi-lingual classes of ages 11 to 18. They ranged from elementary to intermediate level. Additionally, I was responsible for training the teachers in EFL methodologies and I created and designed my own textbook course. During this time, I assessed and refined my own teaching and developed a confident and focused attitude.
