關於我
Hello there! My name is Areti and I am a certified Greek language teacher, specialized in teaching Modern Greek to foreigners at any level: from beginners to advanced. I live in Rhodes island which is situated in the southeastern part of Greece. After finishing my university studies in Greek literature in Athens, including subjects such as ancient Greek, Latin, modern Greek, history and pedagogics I came back to my hometown where I started teaching Greek as a Foreign Language to foreigners who live on the island. I have experience both in teaching students from all over the world in a classroom as well as private lessons and virtually through online methods.
For the past 12 years I have also been teaching students who wish to take part in the exams for the Greek Language Certification, with 100% success: from A1 to C2. These are the exams that are officially recognized by the Greek government and worldwide. Ι am also a holder of the certificate of the Michigan Proficiency in English as well as holder of the Dalf C2 certificate in French.
My Master with the title “Innovation in learning and teaching” brought me in contact with new techonologies in education, educational material design in digital environmetns as well as adult Education.
Our one to one lessons will be fully customized and based on widely used up to date Greek language books for foreigners in combination with my own personal educational learning material. These include all the main tasks as : phonetics, pronunciation, reading, grammar, structure and acoustic exercises as well as writing and speaking, all the time emphasizing your own needs and personal goals. My belief is that learning should be enjoyable so although we will work hard we will enjoy the lessons using a variety of methods.
Ιn conclusion, I am a warm, accessible, enthusiastic and responsible person who can create a welcoming learning environment for all students.. So, shall we start?
