關於我
ABOUT ME:
Hello everyone! My name is Carlos, and I am a native Spanish teacher from Spain. I live in Malaga, a city in the south of Spain. My passions are languages, history, reading, travelling, watching movies and series, cooking, practising and watching sports, especially football and tennis. I consider myself a person who likes teaching and learning, and this is one of the reasons why I am a teacher, because I like teaching and I think that we teachers also learn a lot from each student, regardless of the subject taught.
ME, AS TEACHER:
I have been teaching Spanish to people from all over the world for 10 years. I have been working for 8 years in different Spanish schools in my city and abroad. 5 years ago I started teaching Spanish online, just as a hobby, it was an additional work that I combined with my job as a classroom teacher in schools. As time goes by The passage of time and other reasons led me to dedicate myself more and more to online teaching, and today I work as a full-time online Spanish teacher and I am very happy with this way of teaching students from all over the world, of all ages and levels.
The adjectives that describe me best as a teacher are: proactive, flexible, enthusiastic, vocational and patient
MY LESSONS AND TEACHING METHOD:
I am a teacher who gives special importance to the development of communication skills, without ignoring the focus on other areas such as the development of listening skills, grammar, reading comprehension, etc. I always try to adapt to the needs of each student.
I believe that a teacher cannot use only one methodology for all students.Each person is different, has different needs and of course not everyone learns a language in the same way, for this reason I use different strategies,material and CV with each of my students.
My experience as a teacher has led me to the conclusion that self-directed learning from the part of the student is relevant to learn a language properly.
I conclude my profile with this proverb that I like very much:
"To learn a language Is to have one more window from Which to took at the world"

In my trial lessons I like to getting to know the student, showing confidence, reassurance and motivation. It is important for me to listen to the needs, goals and reasons for which the student wants to start learning Spanish or improve it. From this information given, I inform the student about the best curriculum and methodology to achieve their goals.
Also, for those students who wish, I can share the material I use in my lessons, so that they have an idea of the learning plan.
