Hello!
My name is Chan Ping, I come from Taiwan where we speak traditional Mandarin Chinese. I have been teaching Chinese for three years and I have taught students from all over the world. I currently teach Chinese to foreign students at the Chinese Language Center of I-Shou University. In addition to teaching Chinese to foreign students, I also train Chinese teachers.
At university I studied Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, and have an international Chinese teacher certification called TCSOL (Teachers of Chinese to Speakers for Other Languages).
If you schedule my class I will provide free ebooks, currently the most authoritative Chinese textbook for teaching foreigners in Taiwan. I can also personalize the courses based on your level and interests to make the classes more fun and effective.
From my experience and education, I know the difficulties of foreign students in learning Chinese. I also know how to help foreign students solve these difficulties, like Chinese tones and grammar. I also like to discuss with my students about recent Taiwanese affairs, and our culture, in Chinese during my class.
