Yes, it seems overwhelming at first. Lots of new vocabulary, difficult pronunciation, complicated grammar. It is hard to deal with it on your own. But do not worry, you are in good hands.
Cześć! My name is Emilia and I have been teaching Polish as a second language since 2014. I am a Polish studies graduate, and I’m currently live and work in Warsaw. I have taught Polish at companies such as P&G, Deloitte, BNP Paribas and Raiffeisen.
I love my job because it allows me to meet new people and get to know their cultures without leaving my home. My students come from over 25 countries and 6 continents. I can't wait to meet you!
How do I teach? I approach each student individually. I always check your needs. Do you want to learn a language because you would like to communicate in everyday situations, or would you like to understand more complex grammatical constructions? Once we set our expectations, we can plan our lessons together.
Commitment and a positive attitude are the only things I expect from a student. I will take care of the rest :)
