Hi! I'm Julianna. I am a dedicated, thoughtful, and patient tutor. I enjoy creating an immersive, fun environment for my students. I have taught and tutored on an individual level to students who needed to improve their speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills. Language and language teaching are my passions.

I graduated with a degree in English Writing from Berea College with a 3.9 GPA. While in school, I was the English as a Second Language and Spanish Teachers' Assistant. For the past 6 years, I have worked as an ESL teacher in North Carolina, Portugal, and Mexico as well as online. I have tutored and taught students ages 3 and up in the subjects of ESL, Spanish, writing, speaking, and college preparation.

I have completed and excelled at 3 out of 4 online courses towards a TESOL certificate through Arizona State University. I am currently working on completing the 4th. These courses cover lesson design and assessment, theories of second language acquisition, and foundational principles.
