Hello, I’m Summer : )
I was born in China and now call Sydney, Australia home. After living here for over a decade, I’m fluent in both Mandarin and English. I’m open-minded and curious. I like trying new things, meeting people from different backgrounds, and learning about different cultures. I’m really into food and nutrition, fitness, travelling, psychology, and self-improvement. I love exploring new places, trying different cuisines, and sharing what I’ve learned along the way.
My Teaching Approach
Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m professionally trained in Mandarin teaching and have worked with students at all levels over the years. I know learning a new language can be exciting, but it can also feel a bit overwhelming. If you feel nervous about speaking Mandarin, that’s totally normal — I’m here to support you, help you build confidence, and guide you toward your goals.
I aim to create a relaxed, friendly, and encouraging space where you can express yourself comfortably. I’m patient, supportive, and like to keep lessons enjoyable and practical. I always tailor lessons to your needs and learning style.
What to Expect in My Lessons
Before we start, I like to get a general sense of your level and what you want to focus on — just through a casual chat. My lessons are interactive, flexible, and personalised to help you improve efficiently.
