關於我

My name is Thea and I am half French half Mexican. I grew up in Paris and I speak French, Spanish and English. On top of being a French teacher, I am also a professional contemporary dancer.
I have been teaching french for 5 years in New York to groups and in private lessons, to adults and to children. In addition, I have a strong general knowledge thanks to my literature background at the Sorbonne University in Paris and to my Economics degree from Sussex University in the UK. Furthermore, I also have experience in teaching at a more general level: I am a contemporary dance teacher and I had the opportunity to teach internationally, in New-York, Paris and Mexico.
My teaching technique of French is based on grammar and vocabulary, which are both essential in order to learn French. Depending on the level of the student, I also work on different aspect of the language including understanding, reading, the french culture and of course, speaking.
I believe learning a language should always be fun and I will make sure you enjoy it!
