關於我
* Video made in English (00:00–01:17) and German (01:18–02:49)! *
Hello, German learners!
I’m Yasemin, a native German speaker born and raised in Germany and now based in the UK. I’m a German language and education specialist with 10+ years of teaching experience in Germany, Spain, Turkey, the UK, and online.
I specialize in German exam preparation (Goethe and telc, A1–C2), Business German, and everyday conversation. In addition to teaching, I have extensive experience in academic proofreading and editing, content writing, and learning design.
1) How can I help you?
We’ll start by discussing your goals, current level, and what you’d like to achieve. I'll then create a learning approach tailored to your needs.
Lessons are structured and build on each other, while remaining flexible enough to adapt to your progress and interests. Depending on your goals, we may work with texts, exercises, games, videos, and music, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and/or writing.
I’ll also provide exercises for you to practise between lessons and regularly review your progress with you.
2) What do you need?
I’ll provide all the learning materials you need, so there’s nothing you need to prepare in advance. If you have specific materials you’d like to work with, you’re welcome to share them with me.
All you need is a quiet place, a stable internet connection, and a working camera and microphone.
A few things to know:
➡️ Lesson length: Lessons are 55 minutes long due to consecutive lessons. If you’d prefer shorter 25-minute lessons, please contact me and I’ll adjust the price accordingly.
➡️ Your German level: When booking your first lesson, please let me know your current level of German so I can prepare accordingly. Don’t worry, it’s fine if you start from zero.
➡️ Age: Please be aware that I don’t teach minors online. You must be at least 18 years old.
➡️ Cancellation policy: Lessons can be rescheduled more than 12 hours before the start time. Cancellations made more than 12 hours in advance receive a 100% refund; cancellations within 12 hours receive a 50% refund. Missed lessons are charged in full, including cases where you arrive late or experience technical difficulties.
Feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions.
Ready to get started? I look forward to meeting you! 😊
