Lo lindo y lo “no tan lindo” de que se hablen tantos idiomas en el mundo





¿Te has puesto alguna vez a pensar en las ventajas y desventajas de la diversidad idiomática en el mundo?
A continuación, te planteo dos argumentos distintos que me han dado dos personas y que a mí me ayudaron a reflexionar sobre el tema.
Luego de leer estas opiniones, te invito a que, si tienes una postura distinta o quieres aportar algún otro motivo de los que aparecen aquí, me los hagas saber!

Acá van:

Lo “no tan lindo” de que se hablen tantos idiomas en el mundo: porque le quita dinamismo y fluidez a una conversación, hace que no nos podamos entender, hace que muchas veces pasen desapercibidas tantas cosas, tantos detalles. Porque funciona muchas veces como una gran barrera para la comunicación. Porque visto desde el lado práctico, no es cómodo para el cerebro.


Lo lindo de que se hablen tantos idiomas: porque le da dinamismo y fluidez a una conversación, hace que nos podamos entender con señas, gesticulaciones, y que nos las tengamos que ingeniar para que los otros comprendan lo que queremos decir. Porque hace que muchas veces pasen desapercibidas tantas cosas (para mejor). Porque es un entrenamiento permanente para el cerebro.
Porque le da particularidad y riqueza cultural e histórica a un lugar, porque cada idioma trae detrás una forma de vivir la vida, colores, olores, imágenes, sabores, idiosincrasia. Porque cada idioma es una manera de ver el mundo, de pensar y ordenar la realidad, de entender la vida.
Porque sería muy aburrido si no existiesen más los diversos idiomas de este mundo y todos habláramos el mismo idioma.
El idioma, los acentos, los modismos hacen que cada persona, cultura, paisaje o lugar sea aún más especial. Cada idioma aporta una visión del mundo y si hubiera sólo uno se perdería la diversidad.
